Terms & Conditions – Aavin Namakkal
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the websitewww.aavinnamakkal.in and the mobile application“Aavin Namakkal App” (together referred to as the “Platform”), operated for Aavin Namakkal, a unit of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Purpose of the Platform
The Platform is intended to provide information, services, and updates related to milk procurement, distribution, consumer services, and other activities of Aavin Namakkal. The Platform is provided for general informational and service purposes only.
2. User Eligibility
The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the Platform, you agree:
- To provide accurate and complete information where required
- Not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the Platform or its services
- Not to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
4. Account and Security
If the Platform requires account registration, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out under your account.
5. Payments, Delivery, Refund & Cancellation Policy
5.1 Payments and Transactions
The Platform allows users to make online payments for milk, curd, and other dairy products offered by Aavin Namakkal.
Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment gateway service providers including Cashfree, Razorpay, andCCAvenue. Aavin Namakkal does not store, process, or retain any debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking details.
All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective payment gateway and the user’s bank. Aavin Namakkal shall not be responsible for transaction failures caused by banks, payment gateways, or network issues.
5.2 Delivery / Supply of Products
Aavin Namakkal primarily supplies perishable dairy productssuch as milk, curd, buttermilk, and related items. Deliveries are made only within approved service areas through authorized distributors or delivery agents.
- Delivery is carried out as per the selected order or subscription schedule
- Delivery timings may vary due to weather conditions, public holidays, or operational constraints
- Users must ensure correct address details and availability at the delivery location
Aavin Namakkal shall not be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect address details, customer unavailability, or access restrictions.
5.3 Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of perishable dairy products, orders once confirmed and paid for cannot be cancelled.
No cancellation requests will be entertained after successful payment, except where explicitly permitted for a specific service or product.
5.4 Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment made for the same order
- Payment debited but order not generated due to a technical error
- Transaction failure where the amount is debited from the user’s account
- Non-delivery of products due to operational reasons attributable to Aavin Namakkal
5.5 Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds shall not be applicable in the following cases:
- Products already delivered
- Customer unavailability at the time of delivery
- Incorrect delivery address provided by the user
- Change of mind after order confirmation
5.6 Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, the amount shall be credited to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the user’s bank or payment gateway.
5.7 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, users must contact Aavin Namakkal with the following details:
- Registered mobile number or user ID
- Transaction ID / reference number
- Date and amount of transaction
- Reason for the refund request
6. Intellectual Property
All content available on the Platform, including text, logos, graphics, images, and software, is the property of Aavin Namakkal or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction of such content is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure the accuracy and availability of the Platform, Aavin Namakkal does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Aavin Namakkal shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Aavin Namakkal is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of such third-party platforms.
9. Suspension or Termination
Aavin Namakkal reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform, without prior notice, if a user violates these Terms or engages in unlawful or harmful activities.
10. Privacy
The collection and use of personal information through the Platform are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tamil Nadu.
